Verdin was there…, gone, and there again The rain fell on the cobblestones as the wave of disgust and hate he had for this plane. Nothing here was normal. The laws, the people, heck nothing was like anywhere else. One moment you're just walking down the street minding your business and the next second you’ve broken six different laws. “I believe you mean precinct.” The soldier barked in an over authoritarian manner. “Yes, yes I kno-” He was cut off sharply. As the soldier swung around abruptly, while the other had barely just lifted the grate out of its socket. “Don’t you sass me. Don’t you know anything?” The soldier said as he shoved his halberd in the direction of Verdin’s neck as a gaudy show of dominance. “As a matter of fact I do,” Verdin said as he casually moved the blade with but a few fingers as he had done so many times. His throat always had an affinity for attracting blades. “Wojek officer if you could be so kind to fulfill my request I can make it all the worthwhile.” “Fine.” The officer gave a crude explanation of how to get to the precinct, but it would suffice.
