This a grim reality that many Americans and Oklahomans are faced with divorce. Both my husband and I were married once before with our significant others. People are so disenchanted with marriage itself for several reasons. The main reason I feel people don't want to be married as a result of knowing someone and will acquiresomeone that has been divorced whether its from family members, friends, and even our personal experiences from our past. Another factor to look at is that marriage means committment and effort. Some don't like or have the ideal in committing to just one person and while others don't want to practicing on communication with another person. Others may justify and utilize marriage as matter of convenience, monetary investment, some may have the ideal that they are totally and completely in love, and even in some instances someone is pregnant as they don't bring shame or disgrace the family. My mother explained to me that she married to get out of her parents' house. I married the first time since I was pregnant at a young age. My personal belief was I didn't want my daughter to have her father be absent from her growing up in her younger years. The second and final marriage is we have the same ideals and values. The most important fact is that we both truly do love and respect each other. We communicate and are friends additionally. If we do happen to disagree, which we haven't yet I appreciate him and respectively discuss it out in a cordial way and come to a resolution that the both of us can arrive to an ambicale agreement.
