Some people have read the Tom Clancy novel about The Hunt For Red October. It is not very far off from a couple of real life events. There was an unidentified submarine that did enter our territorial waters as the Soviet Union was in a state of collapse. Now there was no defections or any heroics by the navy or CIA, like they ever do anything heroic, but there was a very tense search by our surface and underwater fleet for this ship. It left our sonar grid about eighteen hours after it first crossed into it and headed out towards Africa. I personally have no idea what ever happened to it or who it actually belonged to. Chance are it was Soviet though. If ti was we would have likely sank it had it stayed in our waters and we had identified
Black Hearts tells the story of a few bad soldiers from 1st platoon, Bravo company of the 1-502nd Infantry Battalion of the 101st Airborne Division, that was plagued with toxic leadership and lack of control over soldiers. The book documents the events that led to the ultimate demise of the soldiers involved in the horrific incident that occurred on March 12, 2006. Four soldiers were arrested in the brutal murder of an Iraqi family, which was a result of the lack of leadership and structure these soldiers received. Throughout World War Z by Max Brooks, readers can see how the apocalypse begins. Some of these mistakes can be considered individual human error, but overall can be seen as the government failing to serve its purpose. For example, early in the book, China first discovered that there was a newfound disease starting to spread. Instead of taking the responsibility for this disease, they shrugged it off and redirected other countries attentions. This caused the disease to start as a small outbreak and eventually multiplied. This failure in government can be seen as somewhat of a selfish act in order to preserve the country’s secrecy. Because they did not take the initiative to tell anyone else about the disease, people were unable to take caution and prevent themselves from contracting the plague. Similar to the book Blindness, nobody understood that the disease was amongst them at first. People were suddenly beginning to go blind with many unanswered questions. However, there was never any real truth to be revealed to the citizens in Blindness as there was in World War Z.
Many people say that the metal of a man is found in his ability to keep his ideals in spite of anything that life can through at you. If a man is found to have done these things he can be called a hero. Through a lifelong need to accept responsibility for all living things, Robert Ross defines his heroism by keeping faith with his ideals despite the betrayal, despair and tragedy he suffers throughout the course of The Wars by Timothy Findley.

War of the Worlds by H. G. Wells Homo - Superior or not? War of the Worlds by H. G. Wells is a fictional story about war and mankind’s coming of age. It is also a philosophical novel with many deep meanings underlying the shallow looking one-hundred-eighty-eight page book. The subject of this novel is Science Fiction and there are not many that can even compete with Wells in terms of how superior his word descriptions are. He simply does wonders with the imagination of the reader.
In conclusion, The Battle of the Black Sea was a disaster for the United States. Even though they lost less than 20 men and thousands of Aidid’s men were killed, the U.S. was distraught. It was supposed to be a routine mission that ended in nobody getting killed. This is why the events portrayed in “Black Hawk Down” drastically affected the U.S.’ foreign policy for the rest of the 1990’s.

Well it is easy to see that in Tom Clancy’s book rainbow six there are two main groups the first group is of course Rainbow SIX the second is horizon corp. Now for rainbow six they are our heroes they are the Special Forces assault team created and funded by the United States but it consists of members from across the world. The second group is the horizon corp. now these are the evil ones in the book and when I say evil I mean EVIL. But they were evil in the eyes of society but not in their own eyes. .
