Toddlers also naturally demonstrate their self-awareness by their ability to use and understand self-referential languages such as I, me, you and my. (Ross, Douglas, & Cummingham 2016). Discipline includes teaching on how to handle anger to avoid a physical altercation with other children. It is imperative for parents to encourage and reward good behavior. Meals and playtime must be done together as often as possible. The television cannot replace parents, so a clinician must advise parents to avoid installing a television in rooms.
