Introduction “Sometimes you don't realize how much you care for someone until they stop caring for you” What the meaning of this quote is that the care must be delivered to every human being despite the fact that people are poor or rich, white or black, living in America or Holland. Every person deserves equal care. There are many types of healthcare systems in the world, euthanasia is not permitted everywhere, different rules are applied per country with regard to maternity leave, but above all, there is a big difference between countries to the healthcare system. If the countries do not invest in health care, they will go bankrupt. There could be less distinction between the poor and the rich. However, not every country is at the forefront of developing care, which is why it is difficult for some countries to make this distinction. Having an insurance policy is certainly necessary for everyone who should only custom make to the people themselves. Therefore, if someone suddenly gets ill there do not have to put all his or her income in order to get better. As shown in the movie, many types of health care are on offer (PBS, 2008). However, in order to create equality all over the world, a Universal Health Coverage (UHC) has been drawn up. They must strive for universal health coverage in 2030. These include essential aspects such as access to safe, effective and affordable medicines and vaccines and protection against financial risks. Care is taken to ensure equal access and transformation for care services (WHO, 2016). Unfortunately, active and passive euthanasia is not applied worldwide. There are only a limited number of countries where both active and passive euthanasia is performed. Only in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg euthanasia is not seen as a crime (The Guardian, 2014). Most people think that euthanasia is only performed with excruciating pain. But in a third of the cases, this does not seem to be the case. Often there is no quality of life anymore, due to circumstances such as incontinence, paralysis, swallowing problems and so on. But psychological factors also play a role, such as depression, feeling burdened to someone else, or hating being dependent on someone else (BBC, 2014). Nevertheless, why is euthanasia not allowed worldwide? Possibly by religious opponents, because life is given by God and God decides when life is going to end.
