Freedom of speech is the right any person has to express the beliefs they have without any restraint even if they aren't factual. Whereas an ethical speech means to have trust and respect for the speaker and receivers of the speech given. According to the text, in order to balance free speech with ethical speech the speaker has to be responsible when handling the information as well as the awareness of and concern for the speechmaking's outcomes or consequences (Gamble, 45). This meaning, you have to take into account belief, value and moral principles of the audience while in the process of speechmaking.
