This tragedy raised the concern of public to teenagers compensated dating, and citizens started to comprehend the severity of the issue. Why juveniles have to betray their body or even soul? Maybe the survey from Hong Kong Association of Sexuality Educators, Researchers & Therapists Ltd. (2009) can answer our question. When asking the reason for teenagers compensated dating, 87% student believe the main reason is money, which is used for buying expensive brand products. Moreover, there are half of student anticipate compensated dating is for finding love and purchasing drugs too. It seems the formation of compensated dating have multiple factors. In order to protect our next generation, and safeguard our social ethic, here are three possible solutions to tackle the problem: combating the crime, inputting social worker resource, and keeping good family relationship. First, police could reinforce the combating action to the internet obscenity. With development of technology, people can comfortably connect with world everywhere through the internet, such as different social websites and smartphone applications. However, they also connive compensated dating, because teenagers can search their ‘clients’ easily on those platforms. To uproot the origin of the immoral transaction, one suggestion is reinforcing the combating activity to eliminate channel for compensated dating.
