Chapter Six - The Snowy Heron • In the gym, the gym teacher announced that they were going to start a new unit. The new unit was volleyball. • In English, a guy came in and told Miss. Cooper that Principal Peattie wanted to see Doug After school. • Principal Peattie had a terrible secret that Lillian found out when she went into the basement of the school by accident. • Since Doug ditched the entire wrestling unit he had to do it at lunch to make up for him missing the classes. • When Doug would babysit on Saturday nights at the Daugherty’s house, he would read each of the five kids a book. • The day before Thanksgiving, Doug’s family got a postcard from Lucas • Doug had a plan to make Coach Reed angry by circling each other on the mat, this action made his …show more content…

It was all a setup. Doug flipped through the papers on the clipboard and noticed there were plenty of drawings. Coach caught him snooping through his clipboard. • Doug’s dad didn't want to drive to New York every two weeks, so they found a doctor near them. Chapter Seven - The Forked-Tailed Petrel • Mr. Loeffler gave Doug a grey wool cap. • Mr. Spicer would give Doug a cup of hot chocolate before he left to do the deliveries. Mr. Spicer also gave Doug his old toboggan, which made deliveries quicker. • Mrs. Mason would give Doug warm milk, Mr. Loeffler would give Doug hot cup of tea, Mrs. Daugherty would give Doug a bowl of cream of wheat, and lastly Mrs. Windermere would give Doug hot coffee. • The Town Council needed money so, they took the page of the Snowy Heron out of the book and sold it. • Mrs. Verne picked a group of students and place them into Advanced Algebra. Doug was in that group including Lillian. • Doug and Lucas got into an argument, Doug ripped off the bandage that was covering Lucas's eyes. • The picture of the Large-Billed Puffins was in the house of James

He complains about being cold and Kenny and Frank, his friends tell him to stop complaining, which seems to be very unfriendly.
