In the film “Her”, Theodore works in a company in which he creates love letters and express the emotion of each couple where he only sees them through pictures. As Theodore gets off his work, he has the same routine of playing astronaut video games where he has to adventure through the maze like cave. There is Samantha, Theodore’s artificially operating system who lives in a computer which is designed to provide companionship. “Any person is available to become part of one’s “generalized other,” but certain individuals, by virtue of the sheer volume of time spent in interaction with someone, or by virtue of the nature of particular interactions, become more significant in the shaping of people’s values. This advises us that it is possible to interact with each other, but it is not that easy to get involved in a relationship. Even though Samantha is an operating system, she felt that Theodore could not accept her based on the state of her being at a computer. In reality, a woman’s description is caring, a loving person that has a “soft-heart,” and oriented. Looking from afar while the classical music plays, Theodore comes to realize that they do not want to pretend anymore as if their relationship was real. In the scene where Theodore drops off the conduit, Theodore explains to Samantha that this was not right from the start. Samantha felt bad because of what happened between Theodore and the conduit. Theodore take a deep breath, and so as Samantha. Samantha’s action triggers Theodore’s behavior and turn the situation into a hasty argument. In the other hand, Theodore became furious because an operating system is trying to manipulate his mood change by trying to pleasure him sexually with her soft deep exhaling voice. This gives an idea that every individual’s gender role are important to our society because of the self-significance of how people shape others into their personal values by the behavior cue each individual
