Challenges affect choices in many ways. You don’t always get the choices you want to; they limit your choices sometimes for sometimes the good sometimes the bad. This affects us a lot. In the poem “The Road Not Taken” by Robert Frost the narrator came to a fork in a road where he wanted to go both ways but could only go one way. He looked at both ways and deliberately looked at both. He went one way, the way less traveled way. The narrator kept travelling that way and does not know what would’ve happened if he went the opposite way. The challenge for the narrator was what way to go. Every day at the end of the day she puts a stone in a jar based on how she feels. If, it had been a good day she would put in a pink stone. If, it had been a bad day she would put a blue stone in a separate jar. Cancer is a word used for more than 100 types of diseases. One thing that all types of cancer have in common is that they have to do with cells. Cancer is when cells become abnormal and start to multiply very quickly and they don’t know when to stop. Sometimes cancer cells metastasize that means that they go to different parts of the body. This type of cancer, neuroblastic cancer, happens in the nervous system. Lauren Bendesky was a normal teen she was happy and healthy. The day she found out she had cancer her mom had noticed a lump on Lauren’s belly. Lauren’s mom who was a nurse immediately knew something was wrong and told Lauren she was taking her to the hospital. Lauren refused because she had an orchestra concert coming up and had exams. Her mom still took her to the hospital and an alarm went off and the doctors sent her into surgery. During the surgery the doctors removed a 15 pound tumor in the shape of a football. This has affected her whole life. This challenge has affected her whole life. She has not been able to do many things kids without cancer can
