The author takes a different approach of explaining the narrative approach from the first exemplar by focusing on an analysis of narrative. more specifically the author focusses on how the story of this show is told through Emplotment and utilizes a structuralist approach to explaining the narrative elements of the show. The author uses the structuralist theory of Tzvetan Todorov to further her work. The author breaks down the narrative approach of the show in five parts. These five parts being, equilibrium, disruption, recognition, repair, and reinstatement. The author does a great job of highlighting how episodes in this show follow this approach. It is seen that in the beginning of the episodes there is a stable state of environment, later being disrupted by an issue that occurs, which is later recognized and repaired through a series of events and communication and in the end the core message of togetherness is reinstated. The author creates a work that highlights the narrative paradigm in a different way yet creates the same amount of effective contributions to the narrative theory. Both works highlight different parts of the narrative theory and how it is put into use. Both exemplars were quite satisfying to read and make information on the narrative theory and its parts
