First of all, John Adams established his testimony as a courageous and fair men. He did not go populistically with the emotions of the crowds, but thought it through and wanted to be fair for everyone. For example, He defended the soldiers that shoot the mob in the Boston Massacre, because he believed that every person deserved a defense, even though he didn’t agree with the situation.
