From the beginning of time when mankind inhabited the Earth for the first time, humanity has made a long leap in technology. It is because of mankind's continuous search for knowledge and making the world an easier place to live in, that humans have been able to invent and discover new things. Out of this continuous search for knowledge, the Internet was invented by a group of people, which is a key tool in today's society for information and entertainment. The Internet helps humans tremendously by becoming a very common and powerful tool that helps bring the world closer. The Internet provides some of the most effective means of communication. The Internet is starting to be used in mass amounts by children and teenagers. Which makes the both positive and negative effects of the Internet on children and teenagers very important because their brains have not developed enough. Although the Internet provides many negative effects as well as positive effects, from the unlimited resources of information, the faster communication, to the friendship and love connections; the benefits of the Internet outweigh the negative effects of the Internet, and ultimately makes children smarter and more socialized.
The Internet provides huge amount of different varieties of information, which can help children because they can learn a plethora of ideas and facts; thus making them smarter and more sociable with more topics to discuss about. Children are in the stage of life when they are very curious and when they should be learning new information. When people can’t be seen or identified, sometimes they are more willing to open up and share true feelings. When there is a personal, face to face relationship and possibly unequal status, people have something to lose by sharing their feelings. In personal relationships, there is a level of vulnerability. The person receiving the information is more likely to pass judgment and the person giving the information is more likely to get hurt. Communicating by means of the internet removes this level of vulnerability while still allowing people to express themselves. (Rider Ed)
While the Internet allows children to communicate easier with social networking and other forms of communication, education services allow children to grown in knowledge and become more social.
