During the late 17th century Salem, Massachusetts, the Salem Witch Trials was conceivably thought of as terrifying or even unjustified events as described in The Crucible by Arthur Miller. Left and right, the Salem Court convicted witchcraft on multitudes of villagers. Tituba, Proctor, Abigail and the condemned girls, and others are blamed for the multiple executions in Salem. But even so, Reverend Parris has a considerable amount of liability for his actions in the Salem Witch Trials. Parris’s fearful and avaricious qualities caused the deaths of many innocent people.
