Recommended: Classification essay on movie genres

As a child, I begged my mother to allow me to watch the latest R-rated movie. I scanned the internet and attempted to persuade her the movie only obtained its rating due to blood or gore. This never ended well. She always shot back with something referring to how the movie was rated and how I was much too young. I never understood her logic, even when I was somewhat older and allowed to watch some of the R-rated movies. I remained in this mindset until I began my part-time job at Gaffney Entertainment, a movie and recreational center. I was presented information concerning movies, ratings, and reasons for those ratings. Being older and much more mature, I am able to watch R-rated movies and have an understanding of why they are rated. Working
