You have five seconds to… We have all heard this from our mothers, fathers, grandparents, or someone in our life. This phrase is used a lot when we are kids. One my mom liked to say is you have five seconds to set the table. But as a kid I did not know the proper way to set a table so there was a troubles when people sat down to eat. All the plates would be at one end and now people have to reach across the table or walk all the way around. This caused troubles like items on the table being knocked over or maybe there is not enough room to get around the table. Yet this could have all been avoided if I knew how to set a table. Now I do and want others to know to the simplest way to set up a table for dinner. The first thing is to get all the things needed together. Things that are needed is a table, tablecloth, napkins, plates, forks, knives, spoons, cups, and chairs. Now there are a lot of different types spoons, forks, etc. It is all up to you what is going to get used and how much. But for this table setting it is going to be the classic american dream or like those table set ups you see on old movies. Now the napkin is unique and can be placed in different forms. You can just fold it in half and half again or you can get creative with it. It depends on how much time you have. If there is enough time look up some videos on how to fold napkins. There is so many things that can be done like a swan or a triangle or standing in a way. There are so many possibilities. Now this set up is just for one chair. This will have to be repeated for every chais or as many people are going to be eating. Finally the last step would be anything added to the cent to make a centerpiece. It could be flowers or fruit or
