Homeostasis is the tendency towards a relatively stable state in which other forces/influences are balanced between the connection of the elements. Especially as maintained by physiological processes. Homeostasis can be described as the stable state of an organism and of its internal environment as the maintenance simply as the balance of bodily functions. The stable condition is the condition of optimal functioning for the organism, and is dependent on many variables, such as body temperature and fluid balance, being kept within certain pre-set limits. This may come on slowly and cautiously but eventually the glucose levels in the blood will rise so high that they would start to spill out of the bloodstream, through the kidneys and then go into the urine. Also this would affect the body’s respiratory system. Homeostasis relates to diabetes because it interrupts our bodies blood sugar levels and water regulations. Both, blood sugar levels and water regulations are very important to the human body. Blood sugar levels are important to the human body because it helps prevent certain diseases, especially if you have diabetes. In the long term, poor control of blood sugar levels in people who are diabetic leads to things such as kidney failure, nerve damage, both heart and blood vessel disease, eye problems and heart disease.
