Although, many women can work in today’s society, they still face what is called “the glass ceiling effect, however, other people believe that there is no such thing as the glass ceiling effect. The glass ceiling effect can be defined in many ways, but according to the journal article The Glass Ceiling Effect is defined as, "the unseen, yet unbreakable barrier that keeps minorities and women from rising to the upper rungs of the corporate ladder, regardless of their qualifications or achievements."
