When the topic of war is brought up, many people think of well known wars like Korea, Vietnam and Desert Storm. Unbeknownst to them, there is another war that has raged on long past any of these great wars, the drug war. Taking thousands of casualties and costing billions. In the last few decades, there has been more attention given to the drug wars due to the effects on society. From the United States point of view, the war on drugs has done nothing but affect the nation and its people negatively.
