Sea turtle males stay out in the ocean for their entire lives but the females must come on the coasts to lay their eggs. Green turtles that live near the coast of Brazil migrate 1,500 miles to a small island of Asseion which is smack middle in the Atlantic Ocean. It is unknown how the turtles remember this journey every year to the island but almost 5,000 turtles migrate here each year. In the shallow areas the turtles begin to mate for almost weeks at a time. So at night the female turtles venture onto land to lay intervals of 2-3 times in 15 days and after all that she swims all the way back to Brazil. Another island that turtles visit year after year is Crab Island. One of the rarest turtles nesting ground is here which is where the flat back turtle comes and it lays its eggs throughout the year. About almost nine weeks later when they begin to hatch in the night predators like Herons and Pelicans start to appear and to pick off the hatchings. After getting past the predators on shore they still have the vast ocean to brace which is infested with predators like Salt water crocodiles, large fish and so much more. One turtle has found a way to survive the ways of predators which takes us to next turtle on the Coast of Costa Rica. When Ridleys turtles come to coast …show more content…

They all had three things in common that they have to migrate to a location, either mate their or beforehand to have offspring, then adapt to survive from threatening forces trying to threaten them or offspring. Like the sea turtles they migrate so far to lay their eggs, mate and defend themselves so their offspring can live just like the other animals. Also Like the Capelin these fish threw themselves on to these coasts with no consideration of their own lives but just to let their offspring live even if means die trying which most of them did. Even like the killer whale which almost beaches itself to get meal or teach its own offspring to catch its own prey. So what I really learned is these animals instinct is everything. That it will take them places far away because they know it’s what they have to do also that they have to mate so their species to survive and adapt themselves for their offspring survival plus their survival. But my total reaction to this video is kind of astonished. We question our everyday decisions while these animals don’t take second guess and just go for it because it’s that gut feeling that they have. Even those these are wild animals taking consideration on how they live and how we live we could maybe add a little bit of this gut feeling into our lives might even be the best for our migrating, mating and
