“The Alchemist” was written by Paulo Coelho is a great novel that I had read. First of all, the novel had two parts with one prologue and one epilogue. The first part of the novel is about Santiago- a shepherd boy wanted to travel but his father didn’t want that because he wanted his son becomes a priest and he met the old woman and the old king, they explained Santiago’s weird dream that in the pyramids, there has a treasure. Furthermore, it was about what was going on in Santiago’s adventure and this was the most interesting part of the story for me because Santiago is an intelligent boy who knew the Language of the World, he can talk to the desert, the wind, the sun and the animals. In addition, this part had many characters such as the alchemist who helped Santiago to find his treasure (his Personal Legend), Fatima- the woman that Santiago loved, the Englishman who was going to find the alchemist, the caravan and the other characters. I really like the idea of the author about changing the leaf to the gold and I hope I can do that as the alchemist did. Also, the mind that the author thought that the alchemist can turn themselves into the wind was really crazy and it made me feel really interested. Another example, this part was about the love of Fatima and Santiago, it was so beautiful because Fatima was a woman of the desert and she knew what Santiago wants to do and she decided Santiago left her to find his treasure and accepted that she is waiting for Santiago comes back as the wife is waiting for her
