“ The moment you take responsibility for everything in your life is the moment you can change anything in your life” by unknown . When lowering the age of Responsibility to 18 it can make people question if teens are mature enough. In other cases will teens be able to be an illegal adult. The age of responsibility should be 18 because that’s where people are responsible enough. Teenagers are responsible enough to make the same choices as adults. In the article Alan states that “Today, military personnel returning from iraq and afghanistan are left to question why they can fight americans wars but still cant patronize its bars”{4}. This clearly states that 18 year olds are old enough to be an adult because they are able to get their life take away from them at a young age. THis evidence also shows that 18 year olds could be the age because they are fighting for the country and maturing into an adult.
