Thanksgiving is holiday that celebrates giving thanks to the LORD and not counting your blessings, but making your blessings count. Thanksgiving is celebrated mostly to give thanks and is also known as Turkey dDay. Thanksgiving is celebrated for many reasons like turkey pardoning, food of the season, sports, and many more. And did you know that turkey (the animal) is called turkey for a reason? And that pilgrims started Thanksgiving as a harvest feast.?

Thanksgiving was started by pilgrims at Plymouth in 1621, they celebrated it as a harvest feast for three days. The pilgrims celebrated as a harvest feast to show the preceding year.
