Recommended: The relationship between counselor and client

1. Discuss your experience participating in, or leading, a task group. If you have not participated in any task group, discuss any type of group participation.
During the fall semester of 2016, I started my internship and ever since then, I have been attending weekly meeting. The internship has provided me the opportunity to attend different kinds of groups meeting. Personally, I have not yet participated directly in the task meeting, but I have the opportunity to sit in a table to review and discuss cases. From my observation every staff member in a team group or task group are member that are seeking the well-being of the client. I have the opportunity to hear feedback from participating staff in regard of a client in their case load such as issues to be addressed. Task group, brainstorm for situations best solutions in trying to find best interest for the client. In these task group case reviews are done of client such as medications reviews, office compliances regulations , policy is taken into account when a situation requires to be review.
Another group that I am attending is supervision. This is a group in which counselors bring in their difficult cases. This has given me a great opportunity to hear different cases that counselor bring to consideration in finding …show more content…

This group is directed by one of the Psychiatrist. A list of article 31 is provided on a weekly basis. This list provides information on client attendances to their group meetings and attendances to their appointments. The list provides results, film count, when medications are due, medications adjustments is made and input of counselor is also, important. Progress of client is discuss or if client is encountering any barriers that impedes client progress.
