The Story of King Arthur vs. The Movie of King Arthur Throughout the story Le Morte d’Arthur and the children's movie “Sword in the Stone” there are many similarities that the two share. The story of King Arthur has a few more details then the children’s movie does, but I think that it was a good idea that they left some out. Overall, I think that the movie “Sword in the Stone” is a great introduction for children to the legend of King Arthur. Some of the reasons I believe that it is a great introduction for kids is because it states all of the important facts from the book and it does it in a way that makes it fun to watch and that kids can understand.
