Suzume was a small fairy girl that lived with a bunch of other fairy ladies in Vila. Most of the fairies used water magic or some other related element. Suzume used water, nature, and healing magics. She was learning magic from the healing fairy; a kind old woman who needed to teach everything she knew to another before she kicked the bucket. Suzume was one of three fairies learning from her.
Suzume’s mother was a very strong fairy, who protected their small village. Most expected Suzume to be just like her mother because they looked almost exactly alike with their pastel green hair and blue wings and eyes. Unfortunately, Suzume’s fighting skills were similar to that of a kitten’s. The others eventually gave up on her being a strong fairy like her mother. She had gathered a few changes of clothes, some food for the road, and some money before she headed for Aequus.
After a while, she came across a rather attractive young woman. She looked to be in her early 20s, with long cornflower blue hair and pale skin. She didn’t seem to notice as Suzume sat next to her. Suzume was curious as to why anyone would be lying in the grass next to a road. She gently placed a hand on her shoulder to wake her up, but the hand was immediately withdrawn due to the incredibly high fever the stranger had. Suzume started to get out the necessary items for treating the girl, but pale fingers curled around her wrist before she could do anything.
Sitting up, the girl spoke roughly, “Don’t bother trying to treat me. It won’t do much.” Suzume protested immediately “But you’re really hot!” and the girl laughed. “I know I am.” Suzume stuttered as her face turned red “I-I didn’t mean it like that!” “I know, I’m just playing with you.” She spoke as she took off her coat.
