1) The staggering number of Christian denominations and traditions have prompted some to ask what the essence of Christianity might be. Indeed, the quest to define essential Christianity has a long history. Can Christianity be boiled down to a single essence? If so, what is it?

There are many people in the world who thinks that the Christianity’s single essence is being a good human by doing good deeds and it does not consider as a single essence. The essence of Christianity is Jesus who is the son of the living God. Also, the death and rebirth of the Jesus because of Jesus was a worker of miracle. The supersessionism cause hate between religions when they get involved to supersede another religion. It’s not only between Islam and Christians, but every religion wants to take the place of other religion. The cause of the supersessionism is political power. The issues involved in studying a religion that supersede another religion is that it makes it difficult to understand the differences and similarities between them based on the religion’s ancient or present history.
