Something other than God is a book that is authored by Jennifer Fulwiler and it is entitled ‘How I Passionately Sought Happiness and Accidentally Found It’. It is a book that explains the life of Jennifer Fulwiler as it states her marriage life and also gives out the general picture of how she was raised up from her childhood and the kind of family itself which is described as a ‘happy atheist home.' In this book, Jennifer Fulwiler was described as a person who had autonomy to think and decide on what is right or wrong for herself and designed her rules on various issues in life which she thought was good for her to be bound by them. According to the book, Jennifer convinced herself that she was jubilant and went ahead and ignored all the factors that could make her have anything contrary to her happiness. Notably, Jennifer Fulwiler is described as a person who had just started a hot tech company (Fulwiler 43), where she worked as a programmer and as a result she had quite some money. Jennifer Fulwiler was a person who had the freedom to think and act for herself on whatever she considered right. One time came, and she started asking herself many questions about good and evil, life and death and after a thorough analysis of them she converted to Christianity. She then decided to write this book to convince other people that Christianity was the best option that could ever be embraced and this contributes to Christian traditions. Initially, since when she was young, she hated the Christian religion with a passion because she convinces readers that the viewed it as in an awkward religion which could never outshine atheism. The audience here are the wedding and church congregation, and they do not need to have much of background information to understand the narrative because it is very clear. Her story is somehow unique because she was diagnosed with a medical condition that was threatening to her life, and therefore she reveals that being a Christian is where true happiness
