It was a typical day at Strion Middle School, and Felipe Jones was getting pushed around as usual. “Hey short stack! Come over here,” yelled Bruce, the biggest ruffian in school. “Oh, too scared! What a wimp.” “Hey Bruce! Why don’t you pick on someone your own size!” Roscoe replied, defending his best pal Felipe. “At least I don’t need a personal bodyguard,” Bruce mumbled as he walked away down the carpeted hallway At Strion, Felipe was not exactly the “Big Man on Campus”. In fact, he was just the opposite. He was grateful to have Roscoe as his unofficial “bodyguard”, but really he was just a friendly guy that happened to be 5’8”, and 150 pounds of solid muscle. “Are you ready for the test?” Roscoe asked as they sat down at their desks in math. “Of course I am! Don’t you know who you’re talking to!” Felipe bantered. That was definitely something he had going for himself. When he was in class, he was like a whole different person: confident, composed, and downright arrogant at times. If only he could be like that all of the time. He very well may have sentenced his own death. Just as his fingers could hold no longer, Roscoe came with an adrenaline-fueled burst of speed that ended in a sickening crunch against the man’s head. He was out cold. Still, Felipe knew he had no time to spare, so he grabbed the invader’s handgun, unloaded it, and stored the disabled gun and its ammunition in two separate, locked cabinets. Then, he quickly grabbed a roll of duct tape, wrapping it around the man’s hands and wrists. Finally, when the invader was completely subdued, he called the Police Department to put the man behind bars. The police arrived in what seemed like hours, and took away the criminal with no questions
