The noises of the gun came with waves of bullets that rained on the innocent people. The Las Vegas Shooting is the worst mass shooting in modern American history. It was all caused by Stephen Paddock, who killed 58 people and injured over 800 people. The Las Vegas Shooting happened because of a man with a odd history. Some people wonder how he got all of the guns and planned the attack. Body Stephen Paddock was the name of the man that killed 58 people, and injured 851 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Many people wonder what his past life was like before his attack. Stephen’s father had gotten in trouble with the law many times, including stealing cars and robbing banks. His father didn’t spend much time with his family, his mother was the one that raised him and his siblings. According to New York Times “With success came a rigidity and uncompromising attitude, along with two failed marriages, both short and childless. Stephen Paddock started gambling. Some who met him described him as arrogant, with a strong sense of superiority. People in his life bent to his will, even his mother and brother. According to NY Times Daily News “A note found in Stephen Paddock’s Las Vegas hotel room contained handwritten calculations on the exact angle to fire to kill as many people as possible.”The note also had bullet drop and distance calculations for when he was going to shoot. He also set up cameras to see when people were coming on his level to come and kill/arrest him. He also had different places that he was going to attack, and had searched things about the police such as if they use explosives.
