Star Wars Rogue One is a story about the complexities of good versus evil and of how no individual, group, or movement is without flaw, but that universal forces will always seek balance. The story follows the life of a young girl who experiences unimaginable trauma as a causality of the conflict between two galactic powers caught in an epic struggle: one for complete control and power, and the other for freedom and independence. This story exemplifies the resilience and strength of the human spirit and how even insurmountable odds can be overcome through determination, friendship, and hope. Following orders, asking few questions, and a resistance to argue or squabble even if provoked. On Jedha, Cassian relayed orders and gave direction with the others trusting that he knew best and followed his lead with little hesitation. This behavior was based on the belief that their objective was the same and because it was unclear yet what the best way was to achieve that objective. The group exhibited exception ability in listening to one another, through every stage, not just the Norming and Performing phase. When Cassian and Baze and Chirrut were still in captivity at Saw Gerrara’s compound, it was noticeable that each member of the group listened to the other speaking, really taking in and considering what had been said. Under such trying circumstances it is remarkable that the group members were able to listen to each other. Comforting. When the group is in flight away from Jedha, they are each devastated for individual reasons and fearful of what was to happen next. In spite of this, they are honest and yet hopeful with each other. Bodhi confessed his motivation for defecting, that it was from a desire to “get right by himself” and listened to “what was in his heart,” but that he feared it was too late now. Here Jyn encouraged the entire group by assuring that they could conquer the Alliance with the information her father provided. After having just lost Saw Gerrara, a man who was like a father to her, it would have been understandable to be lost in her own grief, but instead, she attempted to uplift her companions and lift their spirits in preparation for the next
