How Well Do You Think Standardized Test Measure Your Ability?

As for me, I know that my testing skills are not the best in this world. Testing for me is like a

huge anxiety attack all in the testing time given. I personally do not think that standardized

testing shows everything a person is capable of doing and/or showing. From my experience of

not being the brightest bulb in the package all the time, standardized testing does not always

show his or her weaknesses when it comes to school work. Here are three reasons why testing

should not measure a person’s capability: (1) nervousness, (2) distractions, and (3) not enough

I believe these students are examples as to why standardized testing should not measure your

ability for your knowledge. Some students intend to take non-prescribed medicine just to get

through the test and to try to stay focused. By taking the standardized tests away, this would

reduce the intake of students taking non-prescribed medicine and not hurt their bodies.

Standardized testing does not show all capability one can do. Some students might retain

everything pretty well, but when it comes to putting it all together, it does not click. For all of

those reasons, that is why I do not think standardized testing measures a person’s
