Throughout my life I have loved sports. My love for sports, lead me to constant injuries. These injuries brought me to see many Sports Medicine Physicians to help me with my recovery and to prevent further injuries. For example when I strained the muscles in my shoulder. They help me to recover so I could get back by the end of the season for the final tournament. It was because of their helpfulness and Knowledge of the body and treatments that make me want to become a sports medicine doctor. I have always been fascinated with treatments and different activities that improve recovery time. This results in my interest in joining the field of sports medicine that will allow me to help others analize injuries and as a (sports medicine) physician; to get there I plan on taking class like Human …show more content…

The most important aspect they need to have is to be helpful and caringness for others. They also need to be able to analyze the problem at hand and come up with a solution to the situation. They'll need to know how to communicate with patients and other professionals such as other physicians, assistants, Physical Therapist, and many others about treatment options, immobilizing it, different strength activities, assortments of stretches along with what the can and can't do(Sports Medicine Physician, Learning Express)(Physician Assistant, MCIS). Finally they need to keep up with the rapidly expanding knowledge in the field.
The Sports medicine field is rapidly growing, not only in their knowledge but also with the amount of available jobs is rising by 17%(Sports Medicine Physician, Learning Express) . On average they make about two hundred thousand dollars a year. But on the down side it takes take around 8 years of college just to be able to take a residency at a hospital. With all the years of college it will cost me over one hundred eighty-five thousand dollar(University of madison, College
