What year NASSM started?
NASSM stands for North American Society for Sport Management. According to its official website, this society was founded on October 4, in 1985 in order to support and assist professionals working in the fields of sport, leisure and recreation (NASSM, 2016).
It all started On September 20, 1985 at the insistence of Earle F. Zeigler, Robert Boucher, Janet Parks, and Beverly Zanger had a meeting in Windsor, Ontario in order to gather “a group of sport management academicians in order to identify common needs and concerns.” (NASSM, 2016). Then, they invited colleagues from other American and Canadian sport management to join them and “by October 4, from these discussion group, the North American Society for Sport Management was founded” (NASSM, 2016). By December 16, others with common interests joined the society and “selected Kent State University for the first NASSM conference” (NASSM, 2016).

4. List the steps you will take in preparing for the job fair.
 First, I will check the start time of job fair in order to arrive early.
 Second, I will research the companies that are going to be in the job fair. This is one of most important steps, first impression is very important.
 Third, I would dress according to the occasion, in this case I would set aside professional clothing. Again, first impression in job fairs are crucial.
 Fourth, I will have prepare my elevator speech, since during job fairs one will not have a lot of time
 Fifth, I will print out copies of my resume, many of them in order to be prepare.
 Last but not least, I will have a list of question ready. Due to the lack of time in job fairs, it would be for the best if I have prepare what I want to ask them
