Somalia is the poorest country in the world! Somalia is in the eastern part of Africa on the coast. This country has alot of interesting things to talk about. Next, Somalia is called the “horn of Africa.”Somalia has a dry and hot climate and one is it’s most known plants is the thornbush. The capital of Somalia is Mogadishu.The wild life consists of hyenas, foxes, leopards, lions, warthogs, ostriches, small antelopes, and a lot of different kinds of birds. Somali people are different from a lot of other countries. Somalia’s population is 10,817,354. Somalia’s people are divided into different clans that go all the way back to their first father. Culture Grams stated, “The language that the Somalia people use is the Cushitic branch of the Afro-Asiatic language family.” Despite several regional dialects, it is understood throughout the country and is an official language.” Most of the people in Somalia’s religion is Shafi'i rite of the Sunni sect of Islam. Somalia did not have a organized permanent government from 1991-2012. Only around 1,800 paved roads are available in Somalia.. Around three fifths of somalia’s economy is based on agriculture. Somalia’s most valuable resource is its pastures. Somalia mostly trades bananas and livestock and that is mostly sent to Arab countries. Kids still go to school besides the war, the number of girls going to school has multiplied. The country has few power plants or factories, (only 3) and most of the time are out of order meaning they have very few people with power. Very few or nothing at all are produced in Somalia. Hardly and money is available in Somalia anymore. Somalia has a very large trade deficit. Wages are really low in Somalia. Cattle and donkeys are used for transportation in rural areas or walking.
