The Industrial Revolution had both economic and social impacts. The two main social changes were population increased leading to over-populization, and the average income increased for people of lower class. The population increased in urban areas because that is where the factories were. Many people who previously worked on farms were offered jobs in factories. Because of this farmers moved into the urban areas, which increased the population. When too many people came, areas got overpopulated, disease spread easily, and living conditions were small and dirty. On a more positive tone, income increased for many farmers who decided to work in factories. All theough the factory pay was not much, it was better then what most farmers were making
