Two very entertaining sports are now clashing to see which is more dominant. Soccer being the most watched sport in the world, and basketball being a very big sport in the united states. In a recent article, Kobe Bryant discusses how soccer is his favorite sport. For those who aren't familiar with Kobe, he is one of the greatest basketball players alive. Coming from this man, we should all be convinced soccer truly is the best sport out there, however, there are still those who say otherwise.

Soccer, nicknamed “the beautiful game” is admired all over the world. Soccer is a very simple game of having to kick a ball in the opponent's goal. This is very similar to basketball, however instead of kicking the ball you shoot the ball into the basket. There is an arc on the basketball court, and behind that arc your shots are worth three points, within the arc is worth two. For soccer, each goal is worth one point. A very notable case would be from the world's greatest player, Lionel Messi. There was a kid in Afghanistan who was a huge Messi fan. I mean who wouldn't be, he is five time winner of the Ballon D’or (greatest player in the world). This kid made a replica of a Messi jersey since he was too poor to afford a real one. Messi jerseys can cost anywhere from $100 to $150, so it's understandable why he would do so. He made this jersey out of a trash bag that had white and blue stripes (the same color and pattern as Argentians jersey, Messi's international team). He wrote in his best handwriting, “Messi” across the back of the jersey and the number “10” right below. The photo of this kid proudly wearing Messi's jersey swept the world. Messi got word of this and sent him an autographed jersey as well as a promise to fly this kid out to Barcelona to meet
