Different Forms of Soccer
Throughout the world, there are different forms of soccer that vary in Style, Technique and Intensity mainly in South America, Europe, and the United States.
Commonly referred to as football, soccer has become a revolution in many parts of the world. It is a big part of people’s lives, be it for leisure or career (Mason, Viii). Soccer has developed over the years to include many different variations of the game. According to Television Fanatic (par 2), many of the variations develop out of need while others are tailored to suit particular groups of people like the disabled.
According to Mason (Vii), soccer is the world’s most favorite sport. In fact, Mason book, A passion of the People, talks about soccer as a way of life in South America. Throughout the narrative, …show more content…

The South American States are most famous for this form of soccer. Brazilian players like Ronaldo and Maradona remain world legends because of their techniques in the pitch like the use of tricks, overhead kicks and back-heels (Mason, Ix).
Since football is a form of sport that allows creativity, the use of certain styles like swerving shots and chips separate the champions from the learners. Players like Messi, Neymar, and Christian Ronaldo are some of the most celebrated soccer stars today, thanks to their ability to combine talent and creativity. It is no wonder that they have scooped awards interchangeably, year after year.
In Europe, Football has been compared to a ritual- a must do or have an aspect of social life (King, par 1). Soccer in this part of the world is idolized and makes up a big part of income generating fields.
