There are two famous speeches that are similar about freedom and rights. These speeches are called “What To The Slave Is the fourth of july” and “The declaration of sentiments”. Just to start off the difference is that the story what to the slave is the fifth of july is a speech by Frederick Douglass is a speech about why and how slavery was the worst and will always be the worst thing America ever done. Then, the speech “Declaration of sentiments” is by Elizabeth Cady Stanton is about women's rights and why they should be equal to men in every which way.

Frederick Douglass among his well-known speeches is “What to the slave it the fourth of july”.He had been invited to speak about what the Fourth of July means for America's black population and while the first part of his speech praises what the founding fathers did for this country, his speech soon develops into a condemnation of the attitude of American society toward slavery. All Americans knew that the original belief of the first settlers was equality and freedom of religion all men and women should be equal ,which is also what Elizabeth Cady Stanton would like for the females of the us they were also being treated down on had very few if any thing they could actually do they couldn't have there own job smoke drink or leave the house alone it was pitiful they were both trying to get across that both African american female white should all be treated equally not have any thing one or the other can't do.

Elizabeth cady stanton wanted men and women of all races to be equal and have the same rights. What kind of world would we live it that make the world so different. Actually the reason all should be treated as equal is because we all die the same in a dirt hole or burnt (cremated) no matter how rich or how poor how much you're loved or hated all ended up the same Six foot under
