Han China and Imperial Rome T: Classical civilizations, Han China and Imperial Rome, spanning from 206 BCE to 220 CE and 31 BCE to 476 CE, respectively, shared multiple political aspects such as an emphasis on territorial expansion and a gradual internal collapse. However, they differed in a dissimilar social hierarchy, China favoring the scholar-gentry class, Rome preferring the aristocratic class. S: Expanding their borders through territorial expansion, both Han China and Rome went beyond their initial lands and conquered neighboring domains. E: As a result, China invaded regions that covered Korea and Vietnam as well as parts of India, exercising unobstructed authority in central and eastern Asia.
