Compare-Contrast Essay 1 Both Flavio and Joseph Suina both painted a picture of poverty in their respectful communities, but Flavio had it much, much worse than Suina In Flavio’s home, Flavio was the oldest of 7 kids and he had to care for them all. In “And then I went to School”, Suina was the only child and he was doted on by his grandmother and family members, whereas Flavio’s parents never really paid them any mind, because they were busy working to provide for them.
