The two characters involved in this essay are Jason and Marcus. Jason is a teenager in Black Swan Green by David Mitchell. Marcus is a teenager in the movie About a Boy. The two characters both have similar lives but are both different in many ways. The boys compared are both very similar. First off, Marcus and Jason are both around the same age. Hinton’s novel, The Outsiders. In the story there are significant differences and similarities between Johnny Cade and Dallas Winston. Some ways one may compare Johnny and Dally are they both have abusive parents who do not provide their children with the proper care or attention. Also, Cade and Winston place minimal values on their lives. A difference between the two characters is how Johnny obeys the laws, while Dallas deliberately breaks them. Jay Gatsby, as evinced by the the title, is the main character in The Great Gatsby. His goals and achievements is what the novel revolves around. Gatsby is the most interesting character which is why he leaves something to think about in everything he does in the book, but what makes him amazing are the parallels between him and Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald uses Gatsby as a catalyst of his life in the novel.

Scott Fitzgerald, and Hamlet, by William Shakespeare, the theme of idealism is demonstrated as the main contributing factor into the evident downfall of both Gatsby, and Hamlet. Although each respectable character is faced with dissimilar scenarios, it is the similarities of Gatsby and Hamlet's character traits that allow them both to be victims of their own idealism. Gatsby and Hamlet both lose their lovers, leaving them to live heartbroken and lonesome lives. The tendency to masquerade as their true personalities, whether it be to escape the past or to plot the perfect revenge, displays the idealistic attitude of the two characters.
Martin and Stephanie have two beautiful twin boys named Icarus and Daedalus. Icarus has always felt less loved by his parents, some people believe this is why he was such a troublemaker. Daedalus, on the other hand, is the perfect child. He listens to his parents and teachers, gets great grades, and helps his peers with whatever they need. In life, multiple factors work together to influence the choices one makes, and these choices affect both one’s present and their future. In a narrative about two boys who share the same identity, their two seperate lives are compared to one another by the differences of their futures. Choice versus Fate is a theme in The Other Wes Moore that is developed throughout the plot to display how the two forces work together and against each other in the two characters’ lives, and to also emphasize the reality that at times, one’s fate is already pre-destined and the choices that one makes may not be impactful enough to change their destiny.
This book is telling a story about two African American boys (Wes A and Wes P) who have the same name and grew up at same community, but they have a very different life. The author, Wes A, begins his life in a tough Baltimore neighborhood and end up as a Rhodes Scholar, Wall Streeter, and a white house fellow; The other Wes Moore begins at the same place in Baltimore , but ends up in prison for the rest of his life. Then why do they have the same experience, but still have a totally different life? I will agree here that environment (family environment, school education environment and society environment) is one of the biggest reasons for their different.
I chose to compare and contrast two actors called Paul Wesley and Nina Dobrev. These two actors has some similarities and differences between each other. I was curious as two when these actors stared acting, Paul Wesley started in his junior year in High school. He began with theatre studies in New York City. On the other hand Nina Dobrev began with dancing, gymnastics, Theatre, Music, Visual arts with acting. In common they both acted in the same well-known TV show called the "The Vampire Diaries".
