We are filling up the Earth with our growing population and using up all our resources. Humans should explore Mars because the new discoveries improve the quality of life on Earth, ensures the survival of our species, and we can discover how life adapts there.

The first reason we should explore the red planet is because it improves the quality of life on Earth. In the past few years, we have made many discoveries in the field of technology through exploration and we can make more. Doctors used an algorithm, which did a better job in detecting breast cancer. We have also made medical discoveries. We were able to increase the understanding of bone strength and loss of bone mass. This has helped people who have weak bones and muscle wasting diseases.
