Having the feeling that everything at work has been placed on their shoulders is a struggle that most workers in today's American society feel as if that they are at constant battle with their employers. Many workers feel as if they are given several tasks that they feel they are not able to complete in shift. Workers are usually not given fair treatment as they are having to sacrifice a great deal for the company in which they work for. Even though they agreed to the company's policies when they were hired for the job they should still be allowed to be able to work their desired schedule. If they had the option to be able to get out of prior arrangements so they would not make the entire staff suffer. People set their availability for certain reason whether that be because they have other jobs, are going to school, or have children in which they have to pick up and take care of. A company needs an entire team in order to be able to excel and make the best for everyone in the work environment. If for some reason a request is not able to be made, then the employer should talk to their employee so that they could either work something out or they could find a way for them to be able to make their shifts. People usually have set availability for certain reasons or ask for time off as they may have prior arrangements, or other obligations in which they may need to take care of. Talking to their employer in advance can resolve problems that can later come up into question. For employers to assist their employees in any way so that they can assist them in a better for them so that they do not feel as if they are having all the stress weighted on their shoulders. To be able to have other people on the floor in place of them who is either in need to taking off, going on vacation, or taking a break should not cause the company to go through high cost periods or to not be able to pay their
