Ever school carries its legends, secrets, and stories, many which are overseen by the curriculum. In Liberty Elementary, there lies ones secret that tends to stir the minds of the students every so often that Halloween approaches, and the coaches are given the opportunity to scare the children. According to Coach Espinoza, the story ties way back to the 1900’s when the city was in its midst expanding into further other unsettled territory. It was a dark night, and a group of four went out and about through the wilderness where they chose to take beer, along with material to build a fire to talk about life and its finality. It was him, Coach Wally, along with three other staff members from the old Eagle Pass High School. Wally didn’t carry much with him, aside from his thirst for beer and a whistle hanging down from his neck. After several beers, Coach Wally grew the need to use the restroom. He told his friends and he headed off a few meters away from the fire. Being that the land was still undiscovered, the terrain harbored very distinct plants and insects. Coach decided to release next to the railroad tracks under a small ditch. However, the weak terrain did not permit his feet to gain a good grip on his way back up, so he began to crawl. It started as any ordinary day at Fowler Middle School, kids laughing and learning. But, at 8:51 AM, a classroom of students walked into a horrifying scene. Marilyn Tokzulott’s second-period class found their teacher dead on the floor behind her desk, murdered. Despite the many suspects, one stands out above all. Billy Plummer, the boyfriend of the victim's daughter, committed this murder. It is clear that the murderer was Mr.Plummer because of involvement in previous conflicts with Mrs. Tokzullot, presence at the crime scene and access to the murder weapon.

Mount De Sales Academy is one of those Catholic, all girls’ schools that teaches their students to be good Catholics and all that. In the 1940s, however, there was one girl who didn’t listen to all the rules and became pregnant. For the time, this was a terrible situation and the girl didn’t know what to do. She lived at the school on the top floor and eventually committed suicide instead of facing the trouble she would have been in. The man's feet sank into the water. Although the water was not deep, his legs all the way up to his knees were soaked. The man had become annoyed because the accident has now caused him to delay his arrival at the camp. He would have to build a fire to dry himself and his clothes. He walked over to some small trees, that were covered in snow. In their branches were pieces of dry grass and wood. He put several large pieces of wood on the snow, under one of the trees. On top of the wood, he put some grass and dry branches. He then took out his matches, and lighted the fire. To keep the fire growing he added more and more wood. He then rested for a while and continued to on his way to the mining camp. After a while he stopped to start his second fire, which did not really turn out so great because he leaned up against a tree to cut the string from his boots. 6th grade was not all that bad. That is before the incident however. Going to school was fun for the most part, the classes were difficult, friends were plenteous, and the food was good. We all grabbed our lawn chairs and cozied up next to the roaring red fire. I always sat a little too close, enough to where the fire burnt a hole straight through my favorite pair of flip-flops, assuring me to never make that mistake again. S’mores was all of our favorite bed time snack time and a perfect way to end the night. Every time I would roast my marshmallow until it became slightly brown, mushy, and not too hot in the center; then I 'd put it between two graham crackers and extra pieces of chocolate.
