1. What did you learn about experimental design (or research methods in general) from talking with classmates? -> What I learned about experimental design from talking to my classmates was that experiments help show the cause of the experiment. Another thing I learned about experimental design from my classmates is that we are able to change one or more variables in order to observe the change of others variables.
2. What did you learn from previous worksheets and papers and feedback and perhaps Resource Center consultations that you incorporated into paper3? Say both what you learned AND what you learned …show more content…

About variables and/or operationalizing? -> I learned from Joyce’s PowerPoint and feedback was variables and/or operationalizing. I learned that Operationalizing is the process of defining variables into measurable factors and that Variables is an item that can be controlled or changed. I learned from it was that for surveys, it is very important to state your variables and how they are being measured. How I learned from it was through the class PowerPoints and reading that were assigned in class. With the lesson plans, and the book, it helped me a lot when writing my proposal 3.Being able to figure out what are the variables I will be using and how to operationalize throughout the paper. For future research paper, I will be able to know the difference between variables, and operationalize, and how they work together.
d. About the difference between causal relationships between variables and the other kinds of relationships between variables that were dealt with in earlier papers? -> In the beginning of the semester, this component was not the easiest for me, because I only knew the basic meaning of the relationship of correlation. I learned that there is a difference between a relationship and a correctional within an experiment... I learn from Behavioral science class, the PowerPoints, Joyce and the …show more content…

Optional: About Moodle or MS Word or other computer things? -> What I learned about another computer thing was a website called Trello. Trello is a tool that helps a student organized a project into small sections. I learned from it is better to break apart a project into small sections and being able to focus on each and every section and requirement the instructors has for the project. How I learned it was from Joyce. She introduces the class to Trello, and it helped with being able to know she was looking for in each section of the paper. It also helped us with group assignments, for example when we did the random assignment, and voting which group had the best video for explaining random assignments. Trello helps students break down their papers, and making sure that the student is following the criteria of the assessment. For assessment 3, I did not use Trello, but for assessment one, we did use Trello, and it was helpful for that assessment.

3. In what ways have you pushed yourself to learn this semester? ->
● Throughout the semester, I pushed myself by seeing my tutor every Tuesday and sometimes Thursday mornings, for additional help on my writing skills and proofreads. I also took my time with my assessments, quizzes, and worksheet, and making sure I would ask my peers and/ or my instructor any questions. I also did not miss a day of class, because for me it is important to come to class, because every
