In the article “ Science Fiction and the Future” by Le Guin, Le Guin explains the meaning of science fiction, and why it is a topic not liked by others. Le Guin explains that Science Fiction is a form to explain current life events that are happening in the world, but in an exaggerated version almost like dystopian and utopian books do. This is meant to get the reader to make connections with the issues going on in the book to current events going on in the world or the society they are in.
