It is incredible that human have managed to domesticate the dog but have never been able to de-animalize and remove their natural instincts. We think that treating the dog like humans will do them any good but, here in San Diego dog training the view is quite the opposite. We are guided by the saying “treat a dog like human and he will treat you like a dog”. This is the point where the services of a puppy trainer come in handy.

They also ensure that the puppy has no any health issues since it is self-defeating to expose the dog to potential vulnerabilities, illnesses and injuries. Maintaining a perfect puppy health care is very crucial and should cover vaccinations, parasites, illnesses and preventive care
Visiting the veterinarian is a key component that is emphasized by our puppy trainers. Paying regular visits to the veterinarian is a cornerstone for maintenance of a perfect health of the puppy. The puppy should have a nutritional diet and regular exercises to stay healthy. The veterinarian will advise on preventative care for ticks, fleas and heart-worms.

Some are motivated by food; others may prefer affection or play. However, professional puppy trainers agree that any positive motivating factor that rewards the dog’s behavior is more effective in comparison to the negative motivators that punish their bad behaviors.
Our puppy trainers do not engage in training techniques which involve scaring, yelling or hitting the dogs. They ignore the unwanted behaviors, praise appropriate behaviors, and assert corrections when necessary while they remain cool and calm towards the puppy. This is based on the premise that they know full well that hitting the dog as a corrective measure is counter-productive and they redirect or block them from any unwanted behavior instead. Most puppies tend to gravitate towards the acts that reward them and become stubborn whenever they are treated in inhumane manner.
Puppies pick up easily the energy of their immediate humans. They can tell precisely when one is hyper, scared, calm or nervous. The puppy trainers are able to successively communicate with the dogs and use their body energy instead of excitement .when the dog does anything silly, they understand that yelling will only serve to confuse the dog but not to train
