The story of Romeo and Juliet written by William Shakespeare is contemplated to be one of the best tragic love stories of all time. Although, some people argue that this story is just pathetic rather than tragic. This story is truly tragic for many reasons, It conveys normal feelings back in the old times, it's love in its sincerest form, and lastly, who is anybody to say that their love is not true. A story of a young boy madly in love with a girl just for her looks who happens not to return his feelings. This story portrays Romeo committing himself to somebody who he doesn't even know that well, but he believes he's in love. Who is anybody to tell him he's truly not in love? Love has many definitions to it, yet not a single one is the same for everybody. Romeo is shown throughout the play in many ways is to be an individual who loves hard and passionately, as well as Juliet. Their love is theirs and only theirs for them to understand.

Being so old, many terms have changed since then and how things are classified. Romance back then was a lot more different than modern romance. However, there is no denying that there are similarities, there are still people who fall in love because of a person’s looks, there are still many people who get engaged in a very short notice, just the same as back then.
