In the world, people have different attitudes about love. In Romeo and Juliet, different characters also have different attitudes toward love. Inside the Capulet’s family, Lord Capulet and Lady Capulet have different attitudes toward love, but I only agree with Lord Capulet’s attitude.

Lord Capulet’s attitude toward love is that marry is not only consent and woman should not marry too young. He shows his attitudes toward love in Act I Scene II during his conversation with Paris. He says Juliet is too young to get married, and he also says his opinion is only a little part, Juliet needs to decide by herself. He says woman should not marry too early by saying “And too soon marred are those so early made (I. ii 13).” He says marry is not only consent by saying “My will to her consent is but a part (I. ii 17).” His opinion fits the opinion in the world now.

In life, marriage is an extremely serious question because the person who people marry will stay for life. It is not good to marry at young age, because young people do not have enough experience. People do not have a job that can get enough money for a family. Love is more about people’s own opinion. For example, my aunt, consented to marry someone at a young age, but she divorced a few years ago. It is hard to stay with a person that people don’t like at all. There is another example. My father’s friend got married at 17 years old. At the same time he got married, he dropped out of school and began to work. He told us that was a hard time for him, because he did not have enough knowledge and could not find a job. He worked very hard to just get enough money to feed his family. He suggested not to get married too early even though he is a success businessman
